The tube  stop Torras i Bages, is called by the ecclesiastic and Catalan bishop Josep Torres i Bages was born in the Cabanyes, Alt Penedès, on 12 September 1846, died in Vic, Osona, February 7, 1916 maximum representing in its time of conservative and catholic Catalanism.

James the Conqueror, also called James I of Aragon, was a sovereign of the Crown of Aragon with the main titles of King of Aragon, King of Mallorca, King of Valencia, Count of Barcelona, ​​Count of Urgell , and lord of Montpellier (1213-1276). He began reigning at the age of 10 years old and he reigned for 58 years.  He died at the age of 68. He is buried in the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet.

The Palau Reial de Pedralbes is a palace located on the Diagonal that was ceded to the Spanish royal family. Originally it was a farmhouse name Can Cuyàs, which was inside a huge estate of the Guell family, along with other things, such as Can Feliu and Can Baldiró and it was the Güell summer resort. Over the years the farmhouse was expanded and transformed to become the current palace.

The poet and writer Joan Maragall was born in Barcelona in 1860. He is considered one of the greatest exponents of the modernist movement and even today he is one of the most well-known and loved poets of Catalonia. He received the title of Mestre in Gai Saber, the same that was awarded to Verdaguer. Joan Maragall died on December 20, i 1911.

Sagrera

The concept has its origin during the 11th century. The Sagrera is the name that, in Catalonia, receives the space that surrounded the churches and that had the consideration of sacre   territory, protected from feudal violence.

In order to preserve these assets more adequately, small buildings were built in the Sagrera -called Sagrers in Catalan-, which indirectly caused the concentration of buildings in the immediate vicinity and, even, in direct contact with the temples for their most effective protection.

Jacinto Verdaguer he was a Spanish priest and poet who wrote his work in the Catalan language, whose literature was especially influenced by Bishop Torras i Bages, who called him Jacinto Verdaguer as Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer, because of his status as a clergyman.

Arc de Triomf

On September 11, 1714, more than 20,000 soldiers began the final assault on Barcelona. The resistance of the Catalan people forced Bourbon Army to use even reserved troops, who had to fight street by street to subdue the city. Finally, after more than 4,000 victims, the Catalan capital surrendered to the invading troops.

This monumental arch located at the beginning of the Paseo de Sant Joan is a creation of the architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas and is considered one of the precursory works of Modernisme. This Arc de Triomf, which today is an element of decoration and memory, does not commemorate a military victory, but was built on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888.

Sant Andreu

The neighborhood of Sant Andreu De Palomar It receives the name of the old church consecrated to this apostle.
